The holiday season is upon us … ready or not! Today was the day to decorate the tree, watch Christmas movies on the couch, andlook forward to several weeks with the boys at home and a visit to my family in Cape Breton. It has been a rough few weeks! I’m not completely done working, baking, cleaning, wrapping or shopping but I am starting to look forward to a rest and some regrouping.
In the midst of the last minute chaos came a family session that felt like a breath of fresh air. And while I would love to post many pictures captured today I cannot. Out of respect for the family’s wishes I will not put pictures of their beautiful little girl on the internet. I will, however, show one memory of the day without showing faces. The peace and tranquility in this scene reminded me today of what is important and is, in my opinion, the true meaning of the season. It’s what I wish for you and your family.
